Golden Lava Oyster Mushrooms

Combine the flour, egg, ice water, and green onions into a batter and mix until there are no lumps. Add the mushrooms and coat well. Heat a few inches (at least 3”) of neutral oil to 350 F (177 C) and fry the mushrooms for about 5 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Saute the garlic in a pot until lightly browned, then add the rest of the sauce ingredients. Simmer for 1-2 minutes until slightly thickened and serve with the mushrooms!
